While roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) trucks are undeniably cool, selecting the right model is essential to fully leverage their advantages. First, consider "load capacity": standard Ro-Ro trucks can handle 20–30 tons, while heavy-duty models can reach up to 50 tons; choosing the wrong one might mean you can't even accommodate a semi-trailer. Second, look at the "ramp angle": the shallower the angle, the easier it is for vehicles to drive on and off-it is generally recommended to select a model with an angle of 12 degrees or less. Finally, don't overlook "internal clearance": if you plan to transport SUVs equipped with roof racks, the interior height of the cargo bay must be at least 2.2 meters.
Interestingly, some Ro-Ro trucks are even equipped with cutting-edge "high-tech" features. For instance, the ramp on one particular model can automatically sense a vehicle's weight, automatically reducing its speed when a heavy vehicle passes over it to prevent slippage. Other models feature cameras installed inside the cargo bay, allowing the driver to monitor the loading and unloading process in real-time via a mobile app-making it as convenient as operating a remote-controlled car.
